Preventing food from freezing overnight?

Approaching the time of the year when stuff will freeze overnight. I have a bunch of cans of tinned food in my standard 'kit' also a bunch of other sauces like ketchup and stuff I don't want to freeze.
As this will be left in the truck overnight how can I prevent it from freezing???

I was thinking a cooler box with a hot water bottle.

Any other nifty solutions??

A cooler with a hot water bottle will work fine, a lot of people only think of coolers to keep things cold but they will also keep things warm as well, we have used a cooler for turkeys and hams over the years to keep them warm while making holiday dinner.

I keep a fridge in my truck year round. When it gets cold I put a small 12v heater inside that's set to come on at 32F.

I like the idea of the hand warmer packs. Can prepare them (reset) at home and then just click the tab when you want to use them. I just bought a 10-pack off eBay for less than 10 quid delivered!

I've been using them for years now. Started with them on my motorcycle ----- things would freeze very easily in the trunk or panniers. I had electric grips, electric vest, and even electric socks. We'd ride all year long, snow, whatever. But nothing's worse than a frozen sandwich or water on a frosty ride.
The thing that I like is that they don't take up much space in the cooler.

If you put stuff in the fridge and leave it turned off it should not freeze because it will work as a thermal barrier against the Cold just like it does when it is warm but in reverse, other than that wrap it all up in a towel and place it inside the fridge.

small good cooler that you put a heated water bottle in will keep it from freezing... Insulation works both ways.
