What do you think this trailer is worth as is? Life happens and I've been unable to finish this project and now we are planning to move across country. Trailer lights are wired and it's recently been registered in AZ.
List of build products include:
-Max coupler
-3500lb Dexter axle with brakes (not wired)
-Ecotemp water heater
-water tank
-lockable latches
-500lb slides for kitchen and cooler
-corner supports
-tongue jack

It looks like nice work, it is probably “worth” more than you can get, simply because it is unfinished. Projects always seem to end up that way.

Have you had it weighed?

The problem with these questions/threads is that it is really easy to offend, the builder always feels like it is worth more than the guy that has to finish building it!

If it was mine…. I would do anything I could to finish the build. Otherwise, if I had to dump it… I would probably start by asking $7500 and take anything down to about $4k depending on transport and how close you get to moving. Shooting a good primer on it might (might) help with sale?

Alternately, given Covid craziness, ask $10k and see if you find someone with cash?

I have thick skin and understand that I am asking for someone's opinion. I was merely looking for some insight from people who have similar interest to gauge my current asking ($3500).

I have not had it weighted but I have no problem moving it around by myself so it can’t be too heavy. I was building it to be pulled behind a 1st Gen Sequoia but anyone with a Jeep, 4Runner or similar should have no problem tugging it around.

Thanks for the response.

Based on what I see in the pictures and the current market, if someone gives you $3500 I think they are getting a pretty fair deal and you are being very reasonable about the remaining effort needed.

I would raise the ask and accept an offer if you get one. I never really know where the break point is on most peoples cash, but projecting me onto the world, it usually seems like $3-5k is about what I can spend both realistically, and with wife permission, before I have to become concerned with financing and other impacts to life.

The problem with asking $3500 is that you start getting $1500 offers. If you get down there, let me know! I’ll give you at least $2k in cash, spend a grand to come pick it up, and finish it myself, but I already have a trailer I don’t get to use enough, so that wife permission thing comes back!
