The truck is still available.
I will be winterizing the truck in the next few weeks before the first snow; the truck will not be accessible for showing after that until Spring.
So if you are interested in coming to see the truck or buying it, now is a good time. If not, you will have to wait for a few months.
That is, if I decide to put it back for sale. From all the interest I received, there always seem to be one reason or another, which often don't make much sense, but hey. Either the importation process is scaring them, or they don't want to fly to Montréal (the Quebec people are pretty good people you know, just saying, lol!). I provided them with advices on importation, suggested to use a custom broker or even better, a trans-border transportation companies that can handle all the paper work, pick-up and delivery to a location of their choice (even if only to bring it across the border to save on cost and logistic). I even got one buyer paying for an independent inspector to conduct a full road safety inspection, everything came back as compliant; he didn't buy the truck because he was expecting the inspector to find something to use for negotiating the price down. Really, is it because I am asking to low of a price that I get offers from people without the proper finance to buy an expedition truck an expect a bargain? The truck is old, yes, but it's in good condition. This isn't meant to offend anyone, sorry, just so much wasted time for me and my brother who is taking care of the truck for me.
I don't know, probably just the timing that isn't right; it has to be. Man, this is a great truck, I'm asking a more than reasonable price for it. Might end up keeping it and turn it into a project. Wouldn't take much to make it look Instagram pretty. One more reason I don't understand why nobody jumped on the opportunity to buy it, give it a beauty transformation and flip it. I would, but I don't have a space to work on it; trying to remedy that situation, hopefully soon. If I end up keeping it and make a project out of it, I will start a new post and keep you all appraise of the progress and bounce ideas with you guys. This project is starting to be more and more appealing to me and much closer to be possible. We are looking at buying a house in the next few months if everything goes as plan, so stay tune!
Anyway, thanks guys for all of your support, great community you have here!
