problem with zodi...

I bought a ZODI from WALL MART and I was wondering what I should expect from the heater. When I turn it on I'm not impressed with the temperature and the flame seems small. I use the single burner unit.
I live in The Netherlands and use a small camping-gaz bottle. The original colleman bottles are not available. Is it possible that there isn't anough pressure for a good flame.

I think you have it figured it out, butane (Camping Gaz) is stored at a lower pressure than propane (Coleman). Perhaps the pressure regulator be adjusted/swapped out?

I bought the single burner. Hot Tap On-Demand Hot Shower #6184
I'll try to fix the regulator. What is the temperature with you guys?
Is it hot or warm? Is it a small or big flame? Mine stays the same even when I turn it full open:jumping:

Thanx for the quick reply

I got a little carried away and bought the Zodie outfitter version. In my case it too easy to get the water too hot and the burner adjustment is too sensitive to be very accurate. What we did was recirculate the water in a storage source until the water was the right temp. They we could comfortably shower without worrying about the water temp changing.

I assume you could also use the recurculate method even with the small burner version to get your water up to the temp you want.
