Problems With Optima Battery on It's Side?

I'm considering mounting an Optima battery on it's side to exploit an available tight spot in our Tacoma.

I've seen lots of references about how Optima (and other AGM) batteries can be mounted sideways, but I'd like to hear if anyone has had problems with Optimas mounted that way?

Would not be a problem at all, Optimas can be mounted in any position without springin a leak or anything. Ive got a Redtop, great battery.

Ive yet to clean the terminals, no need to, still looks brand spankin new.

Thanks

Thanks for the input.

We've reconfigured the rear passenger area of our Tacoma DC into a single passenger seat, refrigerator, and storage space. The Optima may go on its side under the refrigerator in what used to be the right rear passenger foot well. Now that I know this works from the battery perspective (of course the battery would be fastened down well to avoid becoming a rectangular canon ball in an accident), we just need to see if that set up can meet our "transformer" criteria - getting the truck back to a four passenger configuration in less that 30 minutes.....
