Promo Shoot

Dust off your creativity folks, I need your input. I've been asked to do a full promotional shoot for our college's largest traveling choir - it's a multi-cultural, fun, up-beat, "gospel" choir. These photos will be for multiple websites as well as multiple album covers and inserts. This may seem like a joke to some of you pros, but it's huge for me, and I'm excited. Choir is 35 members in size. I have a meeting with all of the staff/directors next week, but wanted to go to the table with some creative ideas. Here are a few I came up with...

1)Find an old rusted bus and pile everyone on it. Have them act as if they're using it on tour, with guitars and heads hanging out the windows, card games in the back, etc. 2)Downtown at the old historic (and beautiful) church. Tons of background options. 3) Our college campus has some great scenery for the more mellow "band-ish" shots. 4) I want to find an old-school microphone and have it hanging in the frame somewhere. Use a wide aperture and have the focus on it, and the group blurred out in the background.

You can see a few concert pictures I've already taken for them here

Let's hear them!
