I am looking to do some type of quick disconnect mount for my chuck box so that I can move it from my trailer into the back of my 4runner or just detach it from the trailer if needed with minimal effort. I dont want to have ratchet straps slung over the top of it because I still would like to be able to get into it while on the trailer.
I have been looking at all types of configurations from bed frame hook plates, flush mount TV wall brackets, French Cleats, Z-Clips, and trolling motor quick release brackets. Engle has a Slide lock for their fridge that is the basic idea of what I would like to do.
So I am interested in what everyone uses to secure ice chest and other cargo while in transit?
