2003 Quigley E350 needs new front rotors.

is there a source besides Quigley? Would love to be able to pick them up at Napa, but am not too hopeful this will happen.

(good to be back here... been too long)

Just send Quigley an email with your serial number and ask what axle they used. My 95 and 98 used K30 Chevy axle. But they were both on dually ambos. Apart from that you could pull one off and that it to NAPA to measure it up and look through their books.

I emailed Quigley with my VIN and they sent me a build sheet for my front axle with part numbers and everything.

Mine is an 02 E350SD with 7.3 and it looks like I have an 02 F350 front axle. You will probably be looking to buy parts for an 02 or 03 F350 front axle.

I would add my build sheet pdf that quigley sent me but I can't attach it for some reason to this post... PM me if you want it but its easy to just send your VIN to them and get your specific sheet.

Have my build sheet.

Issue is that the ford front ends are the metric bolt pattern but the vans have the standard 8x6.5. Quigley modified the hubs (I'd assume) rotors to the 8x6. pattern.

Found on another board that Raybestos 5048 rotor can be used, but needs clearancing for the ABS sensor. Other glitch is that I'm running Spyntec hubs... which now that i think of it, might have solved my problem. ABS sensor should be entirely within the Spyntec hub.

Guess I need to tear into that puppy before finding parts.

Since they modified the unit bering to be 8 on 6.5 as well as the rotor the 02 F series parts will not work.

also found that '08 and up rotors and calipers fit, giving more braking power...

Never been real happy with my stopping power, esp. when towing.

Question then becomes will 16" wheels still work?

2wd only, right?

All Chevy axles had the differential on the passenger side - so your axle is not from a K30. It is just a Dana 60, ordered from Dana Corp., by Quigley for their application which has the differential on the driver side. Quigley did not get axles out of another vehicle, especially a Chevy.

I have never seen a Quigley, and we see a lot of them, with an axle out of a 02 F350. That would be a 8 lug on 170mm bolt circle wheel pattern and would have Unit Bearings. I'd bet dollars to donuts that is not what you have.

From an email I received from Joyce Santiago and Tiger LeBrun back in Jan of 2010.

The front brake pads and calipers are 03 F-350. The uni-brg is also but we modify it so a stock one would not fit. We modify at wheel stud holes and install different studs. We have them in stock already modified and studs installed. Your cost is $449.00 each plus shipping. Pleae advise or contact us if you need anymore help.

I've never seen a Unit Bearing axle in a Quigley until ~2007 when they started using the 2005 on up axle also used in the F250/350 trucks. Before that they were all King Pin Dana 60's and then later a Ball Joint Dana 60's.

Correct Chris, the rotor swap is 2wd only.

I've had several in here with the 99-04 F series axle. Mostly D50's. Q modified the unit bearings to be 8 on 6.5 as well as the rotors. Quite confusing (and a bad idea in my opinion) for whoever tried to change either part. For every DeQ we've done with this axle we've changed the unit bearing, rotors & wheels back to 8 on 170mm so everything that wears is off the shelf.

I think Q started using the 99-04 axle sometime in 02, not sure when they stopped.......
