I am looking for D-Cell rechargeable that have 10k+ mA and not finding many options. Seems like lots of the options on Amazon has low mA and poor reviews. Any suggestions?

Go to Thomas Distributing for quality batteries and chargers. They have D-size low discharge NiMH at 9500 mAh (http://www.thomasdistributing.com/M...00mAh-NIMH-Rechargeable-Batteries_p_2469.html) and "regular" NiMH at 11,000 mAh.

I've looked into D-size rechargeables (I have tons of AA and AAA rechargeables). But look at what D cells cost! $14 - $16 EACH!!!! You can find a 12 pack of Energizer Industrial (just different packaging) for $1.18 each. I just don't use D-cells enough to justify the cost.

Thanks for the source. We use a battery powered fan in the tent to circulate the air. Our led lantern also uses 'd'. I just don't want to keep throwing batteries away when a good rechargeable will last us years.

So do I, but I just use the AA to D conversion sleeves. It doesn't last nearly as long as D's, but I use rechargeable AA's, so never a big deal to change em out every other day. I can then charge them up with my USB/solar charger. Keeps me from needing to keep buying D batteries. Plus, D's are heavy when hanging from the top of the tent!
