I have to find a way to convince the wife about this.

It's only by the good graces of human nature that I have not been beaten to a pulp and stuffed behind a tree alongside the trail. I'm "that guy" who tends to frequently be heard saying,

"....oh...I'd say about another half mile....."

"....I think this is the last big hill...."

"....you'll love it. It's really not that hard of a trail."

"....almost there...." (That one is just mean.)

"....sure...two water bottles should be plenty of water for this ride."

".....I've picked out a great loop ride...oddly enough, it's all downhill." (Defying the laws of nature)

I once took a wrong fork out in the desert(San Diego), and used all of those tactics on my self... I have to get myself back into shape before I use these, or she would catch me!
