Apple sells refurbished Macintosh computers through the online store.
They come with the full one year warranty. Savings range from 15% to
30% depending on how close the computer is to the current models.
I've purchased several iMacs this way, and they arrived with no
cosmetic or functional problems.

The Apple Store sells refurbished Mac Mini, MacBook, MacBook Air
and Mac Book Pro portables, as well as the iMac and Mac Pro desktops.

The Apple Store is starting to have the new 21 and 27 inch iMacs,
including the 27 inch model with Intel i5 processor. Availability of
a particular model depends on the stock on hand, so you may have
to check back a few times to find the specific model you want.

Macs are wonderful, elegant machines that don't require you to retrain your entire way of thinking to use.

The only concern I have with older Macs is that when Apple drops support for something, it completely drops support.

Recent models should have plenty of years of Apple support left.

I really, really, really love my MacBook Pro!

I've been using refurb Macs for the past sixteen years with no problems. An excellent value in my book!

My family used to sell refurb'd macs before Apple started doing it in house (any old Apple users remember User Group Connection and the User Group Store?) - they're a great way to get a good deal on a Mac.
