Removing Old Man Emu Dakar Spring Bushings?

Long story short, I picked up a new Old Man Emu suspension for my Tundra yesterday from Cruiser Outfitters.
Got back home to Moab and started the install today….. One big problem: They sold me rear OME springs with bushings installed and the OME greasable shackles that came with the kit DO NOT fit the sleeve and bushings that are installed in the springs.
Super f’n annoyed that they sold me the springs this way. Of course I didn’t find this out until after 5pm today, so I can’t get ahold of anyone.

I tried to press the bushing out of of the OME springs with no luck.
Besides torching them out, anyone have a good idea?
I need my truck back in action by the end of day tomorrow as it’s also my work rig.

the bushings that came installed with the springs fit my stock shackles fine, FWIW, but I’d certainly prefer to use the gr shackles that I paid for….

Thoughts?

Is anyone from Cruiser Outfitters on Expo?

Buddha.

Finally in expo white.
You’re trying to remove a rubber bushing from a spring eye? I’ve had luck drilling out the rubber as much as possible and then push it out.

Yes. They sold me springs with bushings glued in that fit my factory Toyota shackles instead of the springs that have NO bushing installed so I can use the Old Man Emu shackle kit they sold me.
This was sold as a kit, I did not put this together.

Hole saw to cut the rubber around the inner sleeve then sawzall the shell of the bushing lengthwise until it loosens up. The shell will tap right out. Also some precision air chisel work would get it out too.
