Replacing the tires

My Fuso Fg 4x4 needs new tires.
Would forum members with experience suggest to get the same Yokohama 742 tires that were factory installed?
Second question: coming Spring I will travel to South California, USA with the Fuso Szulc from Mexico.
Where to find a good deal on those tires where they can also install them ?

When I was looking for a spare several years ago the local Yokohama dealer told me the 742 had been discontinued. At least it wasn't listed in the book anymore. He said that it was a very good tire that lasted a long time. Probably, the reason it was discontinued.
Maybe our friends in Oz have a suggestion for a substitute

I have a 1993 and 2004 Fuso FG and have always used the oem yokohama 742 tires.

Nice compromise of traction, mileage and noise.

Les Schwab Tires is one of the few tire stores that can get the tires, but you might want to call ahead in case they need to order them.
