Repower a Fuso FG639

Does anyone have any experience (or can comment on the feasibility of) repowering a FG639 with a somewhat more powerful engine than the 3.9 turbo?

A few years ago I thought about changing the motor in my Mitsu. ******, I'm on my vacation. I get there when I get there. More chances to see what is going on by the side of the road.

Thanks, doesn't sound like anyone does it. Was hoping there might be an easy drop in solution.

I have never looked into it but I feel depending on space prob a 6bt or 4bt, but I bet the old 3.9 had some more power avail with some tuning
