I use rivnuts all the time. One of the best tools in my arsenal.

I just used the astro tool the OP linked last week and it worked great. Not much more effort needed than a regular rivet. I used the 3/16 nuts to attach the quarter panel armor on my XJ. I also plan to use the kit on my trailer build.
