Roof Racks on Outfitters?

Anyone with a rack on their outfitter? I was surprised to read in the manual that the roof is not designed to lift a load. Boy, I missed that when I bought it, Hallmark lifts theirs with a quad on the roof and mine can't handle a blow up kayak.

I have a boat loader rack on my Outfitter. It plus my boat weigh about 100lbs. There are 2 solar panels also. I've never had a problem raising the roof with it fully loaded. I was told the weight capacity was 400 lbs with the electric lift.

That's what I understood when I bought it, but the manual stated the roof lift was not designed for the additional load. I have roof air and solar, I maybe pushing it loading a 85 lb kayak.
