I know, it's going to suck.
I noticed pulling my AT Horizon from Denver to Moab twice over the last two months I am getting extremely bad gas mileage, like 6-7 mpg.
I use to get about 11mpg when hauling a much heavier Jayco Baja.
My guess its the air gap between the top of the trailer and the underside of the RTT. I lowered the hitch on the second trail to the nose would point down, hoping to cut down on the drag.
Kind of like having a parachute behind you while your driving. Also seems to make it a bit more unstable in side winds (like are typical on high way 191)
Anybody look at tackling this problem by covering the gap or making some kind of deflector?
Probably worse for me because I have the 7" tall rack for the Globetrotter/Horizon setup
