I will be calling about these today and getting the scoop from Les...pretty sure I will be taking 4 of them but may not get to use them to field test them for a while...they look like a great deal..

Shayne- these are not the same as Wedcos (quality wise) but are good cans. You would want the green ones since you are running diesel.

Dendy,

Would you please explain the differences of the Wedcos compared to cans from Rovers North. I ordered the red 20 liter can and as aforementioned they are on back order. Thanks in advance.

Happy Trails:wings:

Hey, Rajin!
So, I make no claims to be a jerry can officianato, but I did own as many as 22 wedcos at one time not too long ago! (hangs his head in hoarding shame).
Wedcos have long been the US standard in expo cans. Our great DOT in all their infinite wisdom decided that these can's design needed to be carb compliant (not sure why).
The Wedcos were notorious because they did not (do not) leak when stored on their side (that should say - are not prone to leaking- as that should be a statement made tongue in cheek). There are even holders made for the wedcos that allow them to be stored on your roof rack on their side (which helps to keep the height lower).
Euro cans tend to want to leak (or leach) fuel. Hence most of the Euro can holders are made to store them upright.
They are still a great choice. I have owned the green ones that RN offers.
They just aren't wedcos. (clarification- they just aren't non-carb compliant wedcos)
