I have finally come to the decision to sell my 200 series Land Cruiser.
It is primarily the family road trip vehicle and camping rig. We usually take one of two trips a year, but due to kids getting older and house projects it doesn't get the attention it deserves. Time to let it go to someone that will use it for what it was made for.
It is a garage queen, very well taken care of and maintained.
This is some of the maintenance I have done:
May 2020 - Replace radiator with genuine Toyota (new part number)
May 2020 - Replace water pump, belt, coolant hoses, fan bracket, PCV valve and probably a few other things related to the cooling system while I had the radiator out (all genuine Toyota parts)
May 2020 - Reseal engine coolant valley leak using genuine Toyota 1282B sealant
June 2020 - Replace cabin air filter
July 2020 - Replace diff fluid with Mobil 1 75W-90
Sept 2020 - Install new tires, Toyo AT3 275/70R18 (4)
Sept 2020 - New Denso TPMS sensors (5)
2020/2021 (unsure of exact date) - Replace transfer case fluid using Toyota 75W LF fluid
Dec 2023 - Power steering fluid exchange
Aug 2024 - Transmission fluid exchange (genuine Toyota WS fluid, new pan gasket, strainer, o-ring, plugs, washers)
Sometime in the last couple years I replaced the engine air filter, but unsure of exact date
Brand new Toyota 84 month True Start battery, new battery terminals and hardware
Routine maintenance:
Regular oil changes with Toyota filter and Mobil 1 0W-20 (at some point I switched to Mobil 1 5W-30)
Lube chassis during engine oil change (grease driveshaft slip and u-joints with Mobil 1, re-apply marine grease on KDSS valves bolt heads, etc)
Annual or semi-annual wash and wax
Annual leather conditioning
Regular washes and general cleaning
Mods:
Bilstein 6112/5160 and OME 2721 suspension
Swapped to 2016+ factory wheels
Toyo AT3 275/70R18 tires
ARB skidplates (not installed at the moment - took them off for oil change, chassis lube and general inspection - have not put them back on yet)
ARB drawer system
Front Runner Slimline II roof rack (will include factory rack)
Escape Gear seat covers (1st and 2nd rows), console/arm rest cover (not shown in pictures, dash protector, center console storage pouches
LiFePO4 battery system and charger/power distribution installed in cargo area, hardwired to starting battery. Includes Victron DC/DC charger, Battery Protect and Smart Shunt.
Yeasu FT-8800 ham radio
Front navigation setup - tablet, ham radio head unit and GPS holder. USB ports hard wired to fuse distribution under dash
Additional info:
There are some scratches on the lower parts of the rear bumper plastic (absolutely no body damage though)
The running boards have been removed but will be included in sale (no damage)
Original factory roof rack included in sale (no damage)
Six additional practically new 2016+ factory wheels included in sale (5 have good street tires installed)
I am sure I am forgetting some stuff. Let me know if you have any questions or need any more info.
No accidents, no stories. Clean title.
I need to get ~$46k as it sits to make it worthwhile for me to sell. I can reduce the price a little if you don't need the LFP battery, ham radio, power distribution stuff and extra wheels. I may consider a partial trade as well, such as a reliable daily driver for my kids, locked 80-series, etc.
I know people seem to have strong opinions about what stuff should sell for, do not like my price and/or have no intentions of buying yet feel obligated to comment. If you are that person, please be respectful and just move along.
