San Diego Shop

Hello all,

I need a hand in finding a good shop in San Diego. I have a friend down in Baja that is shipping a 2014 LX570 from San Francisco to San Diego for him to pick up and take down peninsula. He would like to get a lift and a front ARB bumper installed on it before crossing the border. Does anyone out there know a reputable shop in the San Diego area I can recommend?

The SoCal 80s group on Mud recommends them. I know some of the group has driven their LCs from Orange County just to have the work done by them. They are more of a repair shop but I'm sure they could easily handle the installs if your friend is getting the part from you.

X2. I bought a 100 in San Diego a month or so ago. Sdtrux did the prepurchase inspection for me and then some minor work to get it ready for me to drive across the country.

You could also try Terry at American Outfitters in Lakeside, CA just outside of SD. While it is primarily a Hummer shop - Terry works on just about anything and has been outfitting 4WD's for many years. I'm sure he'd be happy to help.
