San Francisco VW/Syncro/etc gathering this Saturday

All,

Every year a few of us with Vanagon/Westfalia/Syncro gather at Ocean Beach for an event known as Burning Van.

If anyone on the list is in the area and would like to join us you are very welcome! Things usually start in the afternoon in the parking lot across from the restaurant (forgot the name) and eventually end up on the beach around a bonfire. It's easy to spot us, you'll see a bunch of Westfalia Syncro and such.

There's a heat wave here right now and it's supposed to continue until the weekend. Surfing was good last weekend....

If anyone is interested please let me know.

well it was fun but the weather was almost too nice! the parking lot was full so it tooks a while (after sunset) before we can reunite all the Westy/Syncro...and too late for good pictures....here's a few anyway
