searching/wanted in South America

I'm looking for a 4*4 (camper/truck/...) which can accommodate our family of 5 for 6 months during a trip through South America.

We would like to camp.
I would like to buy the vehicle in South America, register/insurance it there, and sell it afterwards.

I was thinking of a land rover Discovery or similar. But it may as well be a full size overland camper.
If you have something or know about a one for sale, please let me know
