Seat lift?

In making the transion from Land Rovers to my Tacoma one of the toughest compromises to swallow is the decreased visibility (over the hood and in general). Being that I'm not all that tall, I figure that it might be a cool idea to raise the driver's seat. Anybody out there done this? Any pro's or con's to consider? I'm thinking about creating blocks to place under the seat rails. Two inches would be great...

No seriously, you might try it to see if you like the vantage before you lift the seat.

One thing to consider - do you have front seat side airbags? Will the additonal height of the seat create a complication? I don't know the answer - rather just raising the question.

This IS ghetto...but a lot of jeepers (you know tis gonna be bad now hah) Use hockey pucks. I admit, i did it in my jeep. It raises your seat 1 inch, they are cheap and sturdy.
