SG Springs

Okay so I've started the ball rolling on getting some springs made. I may have even found a set out of a truck so we won't have to take Graham's truck apart!

Who's of a mind to have some if we can do it for say under $100 per spring?

I'm thinking they will be about 2.5-3" depending on the load on the front end of the truck.

And they'll be just like Graham's but I think I'll have them powdercoated pink!

What's your timeline to availability? Want to know when I should start filling that piggy with change?

Pink ain't right.

Say it isn't a...A.... Ahhhhh.... Mary Kay Defender!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought about talking to Steve at RTE but I thought I'd give my local guy a shot first.. He's currently interested and any $$$ he makes will be given to a great charity by purchasing parts from ... ME :) Well I don't really know about that part..

Keith,

I'd be in for a spare set. Just for info I got about 3" lift when I installed them. Right now I think they are down a bit, but I do have the DII tower rings on there, so I get 1/4" from that.

cheers

If they ain't Graham's springs, I'm not budging

Yeah, I'll be selling mine as soon as Keith gets new ones made. Special 'Africa anointed' looong travel springs! :shakin:

cheers

PS That pink 90 is sa-weeet!

Been saving that pink D90 pic for the right moment!

How has the sway been on your 110 w/ the SG springs? If I remember right I don't think you are running sway bars? I've got the RTE springs and really like them off road, but they are a little soft for anything on road or fire roads. I'd like to find somehting in the 2.5" - 3" lift range that is a little firmer. Sounds like the SG knock-offs may be the way to go.

Keith, what is your thought on the difference b/t the SG VS the RTE ride characteristics?
