Michael Reichmann's "Luminous Landscape" web site has a brief review of the new Sony W300 point-and-shoot. In summary: "...a real winner – possibly the best pocket-sized digicam that I've ever tested..."

The W300 surprises with decent low light performance even though it has a 13 megapixel sensor. The Zeiss-designed lens is quite sharp, too.

While I'm not ready to give up my Fujifilm Finepix F30 quite yet, the W300 ($350) is certainly worth a closer look.
