This is my build....
I would love to start with a new van and show you what i am doing currently to my Ford E250 but this build started in 2002. SO here is a little prequel to what is going on currently as i dig up old pics of my personal van.
IN the beginning... She was actually white but to match the trailer of course, so it was necessary to go black...

She remained like this for the first couple of years, necessary to get into parking structures and towing a 27' enclosed with a race truck. She thought she was a Diesel or maybe i did..LOL

6" suspension kit

With more and more trips to Baja and using the van as a chase vehicle it was necessary to lift it. Here is a pic of the first kit that I put on the van, and with the new lift we had to install new decals. I decided to keep the 16" wheels, but if I were do it again I definitely would have gone to 17" wheels. Especially now that i went to bigger tires. This is a 265x75x16 tire. I also had to have the wheel match my pre runner.

Just thought i would throw in a pic of the matching wheel on my pre runner!

Another great pic of the wheel with some girl trying to hide them!

van build

This is a pic of the original 6" lift I did on it along with the new graphics. NOt wanting to get to crazy with tire size, i ran a 265x75x16 tire.

This is pretty much the way she has been until last year when I started to continue on the build.

NICE VAN AND AWESOME PRE-RUNNER! WHAT ARE THE SPECS?

I dont want to side track this thread, i will do another with more pics and specs on the Toyota Tundra.

I ran the first suspension for over 10 years, last year i decide it was time to freshen everything up a bit and removed the Bilsteins that i had been running and try out the FOX shock with Agile Off Road valving in them. Fresh paint and powder coated the radius arms and coils. I personally like the red over black coils.

Headlights & Fiberglass Fenders

With the new front suspension on, I wanted to change up the front a little more. I got rid of the old head lights and bezel and added these new black one piece and new corner lights. For under $100 it was $$ well spent on the improved appearance.

I also added Fiberglass fenders made by Glassworks Unlimited. These fenders fit great and were really easy to install. They really added a nice touch to the compliment the "Baja Grocery Getter" front suspension kit. The great thing about these fenders is the added clearance in the rear section of the wheel well, giving you that added clearance for running bigger tires. The flare on the fender isn't crazy or overdone either making it noticeable but not overdone.

Textured coating.

My roof was pretty bad and was in need of some love. I knew that i wanted to apply textured coating to the rocker panels and roof so it was time to get after it!
The rear section of the drip rail was completely rusted through. I had to cut out and rebuild the rear lip once all the rust was removed. I didn't get many pictures i just got after it and forgot to snap some as it was all cut off.
Then it was time to prep the entire roof in order to give the textured coating a good surface to adhere to. It definitely took longer to prep then it does to apply. It took about a day and a half to do the metal work and prep the roof as well as the rocker panels. On paint day your going to spend and hour or two masking and putting plastic over everything you don't want sprayed. Once your ready to apply it went fairly fast, maybe about 2-3 hours giving it plenty of time to tack up between coats.
Here is the outcome....
lots of sanding

plastic over everything you dont want caoting on.

Next time we will do a YOUTUBE video.
Thanks for looking

Do you have any full photos of the rig after the wrap? Curious to see how the flared front fenders look after they match the rest of the van. Keep up the great work.

Door Slide extension.

It was time to get bigger shoes. I went to 315x70x16 tire, it looks great and so much more aggressive looking. Of course when i went to the bigger tire and added 1.5" wheel spacers my slider door wasn't happy. Big thanks to MGmetalworks for his detailed directions on modifying the door bracket. It definitively made things easier. The door opens great... The build continues.
