should I install just the front?

OK I am leaving on the Trans NH trip Thursday morning. I have bought the OME lift for my 02 DC, but UPS lost one of my rear springs. Should I install just the front and use my Firestone air bags to raise the rear (until level) until the rear spring arrives? I know the bags will/can raise the rear 2 inches. I am worried as stock I may be a little low for this trip.... TIA

I'm of the mind set to not install this close to a trip. I would run like it is and use the sliders to their potential. I like to do installs enough ahead I can drive a week or so and get a feel for the change, check torques on bolts, see if anything is rubbing something it shouldn't. Of course, I'm a nervous type when it comes to new mods...

I wouldnt touch anything this close to the trip. What happens if you break a bolt on the strut top or somewhere else? I would just wait until afterwards, especially since you dont even have the full setup. The airbags might raise the truck a bit, but you wont get any more travel out of the setup and your ride will most likely suffer.

You should be fine for the trip as is. You will most likely use your skids and sliders, but nothing major.

Thanks it's settled!

OK no go on the install! Thanks for the great advice!

PS I just found out AB is shipping me another spring to replace the one lost in UPS...
