Shovel cover - just for the digging end

This more for protection of my roof than the shovel, does anyone know where I might find one ?

I have 2 dings in my roof from mounting it up there, I figure a canvas or similar cover would stop that.

Thanks Doug that was my 1st go too, the problem those are all pretty much for the flattish military spade style, I was hoping someone had seen something more generic

Good idea, help prevent against accidental scratches while takign it down or putting it up. Easy to sew one out of heavy canvas of Denier (ballistic) nylon. Know anyone that sews?


it could even be padded, or have an extra thick / folded edge seam on the cover to cushion the shovel edge.
