No doubt folks have seen the string of threads here with me hammering over camp shower / bathroom ideas. I have finaly settled on a setup.

What I wanted to achieve is simplest possible setup, with the lowest possible cargo space in the vehicle used as possible.

So the pile of parts came in from Amazon, and Walmart today... As I have mentioned in other threads my biggest driver behind considering the Joolca HOTTAP was due to the ease of setup / takedown of the Ensuite plumbing.

And as another reminder, I already have a Zodi Hot Tap Instant Hot shower...

So take what i have, mod it and give me the features I want...

The parts and supplies.
#1. 20ft 3/8" ID 1/2" OD hi temp silicone tubing. Had to buy new. $12.00
#2. 3/8 hose barb to 3/8 NPT adapters (x4). Buy new. $6.00
#3. 3/8" quick connect male and female fittings. Buy new, $14.00 for 2 sets.
#4. 10 - 16mm hose clamps. Buy new, but I badly needed them for my workshop anyway. $2.00 / bag of 20, I used 4, so $.40
#5. Krylon Fusion Gloss black spray paint. $4.50 @ Walmart.
#6. 32lb square bucket / Cat Litter bucket. Free / Upcycle
#7. Zodi Hot Tap Instant Hot Shower. Already had it, so effectively currently free.
#8. Zodi battery powered Shower, unheated. Already had it, so effectively currently free.
#9. Coaxial Sealant Tape. Already had it, so effectively currently free.
#10. Joolca Ensuite Double Already had it, so effectively currently free, although recent purchase.
#11. Jaxpety 5 gallon portable toilet. Already had it, so effectively currently free.
#12. Rectorseal Yellow pipe thread compound. Already had it, so effectively currently free.

So total new / unique expense is $32.90 (?) if my math is right.

Mod is.

#1. Remove Shower head from ouptut hose from Zodi Hot Tap.
#2. Cut 20' silicone hose in 2 10' segments, and 1 10' segment into 2 5' segments.
#3. Install Shower head into 10' segment using hose clamp, and coax tape.
#4. Install 3/8" NPT to 3/8" hose barb adapters to quick disconnects using pipe thread compound.
#5. Install female quick disconnect x hose barb assembly onto ither end of 10' hose using hose clamp and coax tape.
#6. Optional and not listed because I don't want a thirteen, but add loop of paracord to the shower head assembly to hang from the ceiling loop, or just hang the shower head from the ceiling loop via the hose...
#7. Install Male quick disconnects x hose barb assemblies onto both 5' hose segments.
#8. remove output hose from both Hot Tap, and Battery shower outputs, remove liner sleeve / reducer bushing plastic thingy that ups the size from 1/4 to 3/8 and reuse it...
#9. Mount 5' hoses to the outputs of both the Hot Tap, and the Battery Shower using hose clamps and coax seal tape.
#10. Install shower head / hose assembly in Ensuite, double check routing if you want front or back. Sinze I am using the Zodi, I want back... I will need the reach through to operate it.
#11. Paint the cat litter bucket(s) and lid(s) with the black plastic compatible spray paint, let fully cure.
#12. Test, dry, and pack away.

I have one of those tiny side tray / TV tray size folding tables that I thought, incorrectly would be useful elsewhere in camp, I set the Zodi up on this behind the Ensuite and it puts the Zodi, on a fuel bottle and just the perfect height to operate through the pass through.

So let's assume somhow miraculously I get Arizona or New Mexico like weather here, where the days are intense, hot, sunny like here, but unlike here, the evenings cool off, and overnight lows are easily to 40 deg lower than the daytime highs... I just use the battery shower, fill the bucket in the morning and let the water get hot naturally. By shower time, I simply drop the pump into the bucket, pass the controller into the ensuite, plug the output hose into the now permanently affixed ensuite plumbing, and take my shower...

The 10' length allows me to pop the shower head off the ceiling, and move it around as you would expect a proper handheld shower to work, getting the armpits rinsed properly as well as the naughty bits... (I have GOT to stop watching English comedies!).

Another member mentioned they wouldn't get their Zodi Hot Tap single bottle model into the cat litter bucket. While it is a snug fit, it isn't a smooshed snug fit. Meaning yes the fabric of the bag kind of squishes in a tad, but it is far from forced. It goes in no problem.

I don't think I am going to take photos of this, but rather shoot and edit a proper video of this, which will require cooperation of my wife, This might require either a much cooler day, or a cooler location as it is just stupid hot right now... It appears I have mutliple Privy tent / Ensuite videos / photo shoots to do!
