Why arent the SIlverado/Sierra Duramax 3.0 Diesels mroe popular for overlanding? Seems like a small diesel is the perfect engine choice for overloaded lower speed vehicles?
I'm going to trade in our current Tacoma/Four Wheel Camper setup for a full-size rig in the coming year and am currently doing research on new trucks. Seems like most people go with f150s, Tundra's or go the 3/4 ton Ram route for overlanding.
Seems like after market support is maybe why people go with other brands?
Thoughts?
Thanks!
