****SOLD****

We're selling our Skamper 072S truck camper to make room for our next build. We purchased it last spring and put a lot of work into it, used it for a couple of race weekends last year and one long 3-week 4,000 mile trip all the way up through Maine, into Canada, and back. Self contained unit with Sink/Stove/A/C.

Back story and more images can be found here: http://clcanada.blogspot.com/2011/08/did-you-build-that-yourself-story-of.html

It is in good shape, only negative (other than aged appearance) is the roof was re-caulked last year. It held up really well but over the winter seeped through a little bit, might want to re-caulk the seam down the center of the roof again. Cushions are in great shape, and stored indoors.

Camper comes with a 5000btu A/C unit installed but not the awning/fridge.

Great camper for road-trips, race weekends, and hunting.

Size is perfect for a Tacoma, Ranger, S-10, Dakota, etc, or can fit a full-size with a pallet underneath. Tie downs and jacks included.

$750 as it sits.

Hi Carl,
I almost sent an email to your clist ad, but I noticed you posted here as well. Enjoyed reading your trip blog btw.

Any idea of the distance between jacks, when they are down? I've got an f150 and am curious if the camper is wide enough.

Thanks,
Donald

Donald, the distance from side to side was ~78". I actually had to build extensions out of 6x6x1/4" Steel box tubing to move them out wide enough to clear the bedsides on my Tacoma. It would probably be close on an F150. Paul (SLO F-250) had the shorter 060S model on an F-250, so it's definitely do-able. Unfortunately, the new owner just left with it about 30min ago, that was a really quick sale, sorry I didn't post it here first and give you guys first dibs, didn't expect it to leave that quick.
