Skinny Sprinter tires

The time has come to take the winter tires off my '02 Sprinter. I've been searching for a skinny A/T tire but am a bit lost... any recommendations for A/T pizza cutters? I tried searching, got a lot of mixed opinions but no real concrete advice as related to a Sprinter.
Any input or direction would be awesome!
Thanks,
D

There's a thread on here showing 235/85R16 tires, and most of those are also available in 235/80R17, so whichever wheel size you have you can find lots of recommendations in that thread. I don't think the vehicle being a sprinter really has much bearing, aside from if the tires will fit or not, but I don't think that was what you were asking...

If your question really is about fit, you can probably find that info too, but it's just as easy to do a little guesstimating given your current tire size vs. the size you want to run... IMO, "skinny" generally starts with the two sizes I mention above, but that doesn't include the tires posted by billiebob above, which are both taller and skinnier than the typical 235's... I suppose this where being a sprinter might matter.... Because they have noticeably more sidewall height, they might actually be a little iffy for an already tall sprinter. Just a guess on my part... :)

Personally, I am a big fan of Cooper tires because ALL of their light truck tires are made here in the US, including their off brands. (Mastercraft, Hercules, ******** Cepek, Mickey Thompson, Dean...) I've had a set of Hercules Terratrac AT II's in 235/85R16 that we've run on a couple of our vehicles (Comanche pics below) and they have been a great all around tire. Good enough that I was going to put them on my truck this time around, but I ended up finding a great deal on some Mastercraft CXT's, which are more like the STMaxx. Both of those are a little more aggressive than I'd run on a Sprinter unless I planned a lot of mud duty...

This is a useful site for comparing tires and guesstimating.
Finding out what the biggest tires folks have fit before modding is a fair way to search too, with an '02, plenty of folks have probably tried...

That looks like it rolls. I'd love to find a 35-10-17 for my truck. The only one is the Kenda and I don't trust one on a 8650# rig.

Just FYI, on my 2016 4x4 170 (stock height, but Van Compass stage 4 kit that includes rear leveler springs) the max tire size running BFG KO2's is 285/70/17. When I say max, it will rub just the very, very slightest bit on the front fender well when turning at a certain angle and hit a bump at the same time, nothing that needs trimming IMO.
