Smittybilt seat covers

Got a set of the new molle seat covers. So far I love them. Now I've got tons of pockets to put my stuff in. I haven't quite got all of the pouches placed where I want yet, going to be adding a camelback to each seat soon.

Wow, those are really cool, they dont seem to offer that much coverage. I think I would want to put them over another set. Do you know of anyone with a Nissan Frontier or Xterra you could try them on?

They are adjustable by means of the velcro straps. Sorry, I don't know anyone with a Nissan that would let me try it.

I would love to know if they would fit the first gen Xterra/Frontier as well. Do any retail outlets sell these or is it online only?

Looks a little cramped for rear passengers, I think it would bug my legs. Seem versatile for an extra cab truck though.

I've been thinking of getting those for my YJ in the olive drab green. I'm glad to see someone post more info about them with some real pics. I was a bit skeptical of how the actually look and the quality of the material. You never know about that when you look at a pic in the magazine. They always look good in a catalog, but at $100 each, I didn't want to throw my money away for something that was a poor quality product. Good to hear that you are happy with them. Thanks for posting.

The cover fits great on the seat backs and can be snugged down as tight as you want. The bottoms are held in place by an elastic cord, it is not quite as strong as I would like, but it has been keeping it in place so far.

The larger bags on the seat backs do take out a lot of leg room for the rear seat. The bags that come with the cover aren't the easiest to remove and replace. I can remove the lower bags to give rear passengers more room, but it takes a while. I'm thinking about trying some different bags down there that are compatable with the plastic molle clips to speed things up. I can still fold my rear seat down with them in place though. The camelbacks I am going to be adding are going to be thin, so hopefully I will be able to leave them in place. The good thing I guess is that I don't have rear seat passengers that often.

The material is pretty thick, I'm not worried about tearing them.

Just called 4wd hardware, the seat covers are due to be in Feb 15th.

Forgot all about getting the measurements, I'll try to get them as soon as possible.
