Behold the newest iteration of the 4 DOOR AMERICAN CAR!

In the 1930's-Early 1990's people drove 4 DOOR CARS with a Trunk-Lid.

1990's-2020's people drove an SUV which is a 4 DOOR CAR with a Hatchback.

NOW 2021 up you now have the Ford Maverick and the other clones that will ultimately appear which are a 4 DOOR CAR with a small PU bed.

At the end of the day ALL of these vehicles are still a 4 DOOR CAR WITH A DIFFERENT REAR END!

Welcome to the evolution of the basic transportation American 4 DOOR CAR!

Nothing wrong with 4 door pickups small or big. When I was a wee lad there were times we had a family of six in a single cab before my parents could afford a new $10k Suburban. I’d have a Gladiator if I didn’t need room for five people and two dogs. So we have an Expedition Max and a Bronco. The Expedition will fit sheets of plywood and 8ft boards with the seats folded down. There a lot of options out there to fit all kinds of needs with great powertrains. I think it’s a great time to be an auto enthusiast.

Personally, I'd like it to be a mini Dodge Power Wagon with the hurricane twin turbo and a solid front axle. The Colorado ZR2 needs more competition.

Also, it would be cool if the USA got the Ford Ranger Super Duty like Australia.
