Man On a Mission
I tried to post in that thread but the way it is set up makes it impossible without an excess of fooling around and then the system used has boxes where they want to sell and share your date So I will post my reply to that thread here,

I have owned 2 Snomasters and I still have one, They draw way too much power So much so That I gave one of them away and the person I gave it to gave it back, They are very fast at getting cold Yes but you need a lot of sunlight and well over 200w of Solar just to keep them running, Even their little 35L will chew serious amounts of power and It will chew over 58Ah in the Winter time when it is in an Ambient Temp of 14 to 16*c, To power a Snomaster successfully you need to be Driving every Day or have a good battery bank and a few hundred watts of Solar, From a straight out camping point of view Snomasters are the worst fridge on the planet and one Major Annoyance is the constant Rattle of the compressor even on Normal roads that when taken off road can not be good for the compressor, Why they have not rubber mounted the internals is beyond me, ARB and Waeco/Dometic and National Luna don't have this problem so why Snomaster has not fixed this issue is just crazy, But don't think you can run a Snomaster without Big Solar or a 40A DC to DC charger because you won't and with a DC to DC charger you need to be driving for it to work, You will not be able to run a Snomaster from a Normal Duel Battery system. So if that's your plan then find another brand of fridge.

I had the LP66 and loved it. I ran it on the PLB40.
It was too big for my Jeep so I sold it and am currently waiting on the CL56D to ship.
You are the first person I have heard complain about the power usage.
What I don't care for in the ARB/Dometic is the cooling coils don't go all the way to the top of the fridge.
