So my plans changed a bit and ended up with a pop up camper BUT I don't know the make

I second Phoenix. Looks alot like mine. In one of your photos, on the drivers side where the cabover portion starts, methinks I see an old decal that says 'the camper company'. If so, thats for sure what you've got.

Let's see a photo of your new camper on the back of that big, bad Ford... Gonna need a stepladder to get in there!

Its going to be alittle bit yet as I need to build a riser for that camper. Plus I need to finish up a few things on the truck and having everything off the back will make it way nicer to work on.

But ya its tall I'm gonna pull the lift off of it for better ride quality

The amount of lift has nothing to do with the ride quality, it's the stiffness of your springs. My f350 has 5" of lift and my pop-up on the back but rides incredible because of the progressive leaf springs I had made. I like the way your truck looks! With those tires the height looks just right.

hmmm your defiantly right. my only concern is the lift is blocks in the rear then the front is a body lift.

I would recommend to get shed of the blocks and the body lift. Neither one of them is sound engineerin' design. Call up Alcan Spring in Grand Junction, CO and order up a set of custom springs. They can build you a set to achieve the height ya want, still carry the load ... and not ride like a buckboard wagon. Gonna have to get the camper on there and weigh it so ya can provide 'em some good info.

With leaf springs over 5 or 6 inches of lift tho, I also recommend some sort of support to prevent axle wrap and blowin' out your rear pumpkin. There are some after market ones available but I ain't seen one yet that don't hurt your ground clearance. A good fab shop can whip ya out somethin'. Here's mine.

Just some thoughts.

Carry on.

How true. I talked to a guy who had a Carli system installed to replace the stocker on his '06 F-250. He was ecstatic with the improvement.
Same as my other neighbor with a National Spring redo on his 2000 F-350.
