Hey all,
I'm selling my custom overland bumpers and heavy duty safari rack that fits first and second gen Ford Explorers. I had these custom made for my panamerica trip exploder and they worked amazingly. Unfortunately, a window switch shorted and the exploder exploded (actually burned up) but the gear survived.
Front bumper is a tube bumper with a skid plate, hi-lift mount and skid plate. It also has a hitch receiver for a multi-mount winch. It bolts up to the frame. $400
The rear bumper is awesome. Heavy duty tube construction, with a tire swingout and 2 jerry can holders, cb antenna ball mount and a bike carrier/shelf. It too bolts tight up. $600.
The heavy duty safari rack, made of square tubing and aluminum panels. It has mounts for 4 light up front and 2 thin floods in the back and side mounts for tools (axe, shovel). To make it solid it was made to bolt up to custom welded mounts on the explorer, which will need to be re-made and welded onto the new truck. $750
I also have 2 wheels with pretty much unused geolander tires on them. $100
Finally I have a bunch of Explorer spare parts laying around (alternator, coolant hoses, oil filters, leaf spring bushings). These I'll give away to the first person that wants to pick them up.
Recap:
Front bumper: $400
Rear bumper: $600
Safari rack: $750
Tires: $100
Spare parts: free.
P.S. All this stuff is super heavy so shipping is out the question.
