SOLD - '05 Sequoia SR5 4x4 Fully Built for Adventure - $15k - Front Royal, VA

SOLD - DELETE - Whether I get the new Grenadier or not, it’s time to pay off some bills, and make some space in the garage for the next project. So up for sale she goes. She’s never failed to get us where we want to go, and I wouldn’t hesitate to do a repeat of last year’s VA to CO trip, again, right now. Get it now with nearly new tires with less than 3,000 miles!

Purchased in Sept. 2020 from the original family with about 250k miles, it sits at 271,518 right this second. Those miles will go up, albeit infrequently. If it’s sitting here…I’m going to use it!

I realize this will take a different kind of buyer, due to our unique use case. We go everywhere with our dogs…no kids. So I chucked the middle and rear rows when I brought it home. Ripped the interior apart and applied foil-backed and soft foam sound deadening everywhere save for the roof. I then replaced the carpeting with a vinyl floor. I definitely cut some areas short, so it’s not perfect, but it serves its purpose! I then built a flat from from the center console all the way back to securely bolt down our dogs’ crates, and attach a drawer, fridge slide, and storage. It can be converted back, but the buyer would be responsible for sourcing the seats they want, and second row seatbelts. If you’re a dog family like us, the crates can convey as well for the right price.

Frame is completely solid. I took pics and tried to wipe it off in places, but…well…she’s dirty under there. I will get its annual lanolin wax application done soon. There’s no body rust either. It’s currently kept in an insulated and dehumidified garage and I’ve never driven on salted roads. There are places of surface rust on the rear bumper and sliders from gravel impacts, and general usage. I plan to clean things up as much as I can prior to any sale…but they’re used.

Also…while it has a sunroof, it’s pretty much sealed shut from the Rhino Lining process. Given it’s covered by the roof rack, and we never use it anyway, it’s not an issue for us. I’m sure I’ve forgotten stuff, so peruse the list below and feel free to ask questions.

*RTT can be included for the right price, as well as the Midland MXT275 radio w/ 3dB ghost antenna

**First couple pics are from a trip. Traction boards, Rotopax and mounts, and shovel mount can be included for the right price.
