This truck is a purpose-built crawler and has done just about every hardcore trail in California and elsewhere (Rubicon, Fordyce, Barrett Lake, Sand Hollow area, etc.). I’m not sure there’s much it couldn’t tackle. Here’s the best summary that I can muster. I’m sure I’ve forgotten things so please reach out with any questions. Thanks all!

200tdi from a ’92 Defender
R380 gearbox (short bellhousing)
LT230 transfer case (sleeved casing and an AATB center diff - 1.211 high range)
Salisbury rear axle and strengthened Rover front, both widened to defender width (4.7:1 gearing - 3500 rpm in 5th is about 65mph)
Rear axle shafts are standard defender (chromoly)
Front axle shafts are custom – chromoly 24 spline inner and 30 spline outer to chromoly birfields
1-ton tie rod and drag link
Ashcroft underdrive
ARB air lockers front and rear
ARB compressor
Power disc brakes all around (pads and rotors recently replaced)
Hydroboost brake system
High steer power steering
37” IROK bias ply tires with 15” wheels (all brand new – literally haven’t seen dirt yet)
Coyote internal beadlocks
Custom roll cage, sliders, and under vehicle protection
Custom bed rack (*RTT not included)
Fridge slide with drawer (fridge not included)
JBL bluetooth soundbar
Custom fuel tank
Milemarker hydraulic winch
Corbeau seats with 5-point harnesses

I will also include some trail spares - stub axles, driveshafts, birfields, flanges, etc. - and a high speed winch pump kit that will require some hydraulic switch gear (current winch works great but is slow).

As for the bad:

Not a lot, quite frankly, but plenty of dents and scratches. If you do the types of trails this truck is capable of, then dents and other damage are almost inevitable
No horn
Front locker has a slow leak (doesn’t affect functionality – compressor just runs intermittently when engaged)

The vehicle seems very reliable mainly because it doesn't require any working electrical equipment to get you home. It’s registered in California current through February 2025 and is exempt from smog testing due to age.

Location: Sacramento, California
Price: $40,000 (not interested in trades right now)
