1998 Ford Econoline Club Wagon
Decided its time to sell my first van project as I just picked up a second van. Ive driven this thing all over the south east, and last year drove it from Florida to Idaho when I moved with 0 problems. It has never left me stranded.
Its the 5.4 Triton, has 178,000 on it. Ive changed the oil every 5k since I've had it. And it runs great.
Rear axle is a full float dana 60 with a newly installed LSD and 35 spline shafts.
The back still have the plastic panels but I insulated the floor and put plywood down.
I have 2 seats and all the belts as well.
Recent work Completed (last year or so)
Spark plugs and new CBI hi performance coil packs
Rear LSD and bearings
Fox resivoir shocks (front)
Work in the last 2-3 years
Water pump
Radiator
Belt
Alternator
Batteries
Tensioner
Rear brake line
Front bearings
Front rotors
Front Calipers
Baja Grocery Getter Kit installed 3 years ago. Also installed weld-tecs steering stabilizer.
Has a newer trans in it, so it has a US-Shift Trans controller that is programble for shift points and other stuff. Bad part is the check engine light is always on because if this.
Bolt on fancy stuff:
Camburg front bumper with some procomp lights (6 months old)
Smittybilt 9.5x5 foot roof rack (4 months old)
Aluminess ladder ( 4 months old)
Aluminess Tire Carrier ( bout a year and a half old)
5 matching American racing wheels with General Grabber tires.
Rust Repair:
Roof has been raptor lined white
Bottom of the body is sprayed rhino liner and rust was fixed buy a body shop about 2 years ago.
Has some dents and scratches on the body. Nothing really major. I replaced the headlights, grill and hood with a set off of a 2002 van.
I wouldn't hesitate to drive this across the country right now.
