2001 Toyota Tacoma Extended Cab. 152,540 miles. 5 speed Manual with the legendary 5VZ V6 motor.
In great mechanical condition; runs better than vehicles half its age. Has been meticulously maintained since owner #1. Colorado truck all it's life. Has a few scratches and small dings, as any truck 19 years old would. Interior is in fantastic shape. Always a non-smoker vehicle.

Bud Built Aluminum front skid plate (*optional belly skid - brand new - in aluminum for sale separately)

"Bulletproof" 5VZ Toyota V6 motor. Known to last easily to 300k. 5 speed R150F transmission. This motor and trans have never towed. Regularly maintained with lots of recent updates (within the last year):
-New timing belt & water pump
-New thermostat
-New radiator and silicone radiator hoses (flushed and refilled with Toyota Red coolant)
-New spark plugs and wires
-New PCV valve
-New Airbox w/ resonator delete
-New TPS sensor
-New cold weather starter (can include OEM starter if desired - still works fine)
-Blue Sea Systems Auxiliary Fuse block (up to 12 leads)
Plus lots of other updates from previous owner, with paperwork and a maintenance log documenting such.

Updated headunit with stand-alone mini amp x 4 channels
Kenwood rear speakers and Focal Audio front components (tweeters and woofers)

Custom plywood pull-out bed box
In the last month or so, I have changed the front and rear diff fluids (after new 4.88 gearing break-in procedure); oil change with new OEM filter and crush washer. Transmission was drained and refilled last summer. Transfer case was drained and refilled last summer as well. Belts, pulleys and tensioners all have been replaced within the last 2-3 years.
This this runs strong. With the new gearing it has power and acceleration that a lot of older Toyotas do not. Never had any mechanical issues; this truck is an off-road machine. I don't rock crawl and any trail I've put it on it has aced. The 3" mid-travel (vs. long travel) suspension flexes and conforms to trail surfaces and this truck just wants to go up and over stuff in 4L. You won't find a better truck with all the upgrades for the money.
Asking $17,000.
