SOLD 2.7L Tacoma w/ Camper Shell

*** SOLD: $13,900 ***

For sale is a 2002 Tacoma that’s had a long collection of modifications done to it. This truck was purchased in March of 2016 and I’ve been extremely happy with her since day 1.

This is the perfect go-anywhere camping vehicle. A modular sleeping platform in the back with space for two, an auxiliary battery wrapped in a National Luna Portable Power Pack that charges an ARB fridge, and more off-road capability than you can get tired of. I’ve spent many weekends sleeping in the truck everywhere from snowy mountain roads to miles up washed-out forest service roads in the middle of nowhere. This truck will get you where you want to go, then be the perfect base camp for your adventures: there’s nothing like coming back from a long day of climbing/hiking/mountaineering/whatever to a cold beverage and a soft bed.

Those with sharp eyes will notice that I bought this truck off this here forum in this thread back in March. I’ve since replaced the receiver with a bluetooth-enabled Pioneer unit, and replaced the passenger door window actuator.

Why am I selling her after a year? Life plans have changed, I bought a Sprinter van and am hitting the road full time for the foreseeable future :Wow1:

Here’s a summary of the work done to the truck. She was purchased by the prior owner as a stock truck w/ 55K miles. Fluids have been regularly replaced and tires still have 70% of their life on them. Brakes still have 80%. Tire tread is at 9/32 on all tires.

Regular cab, 2.7L, 5 speed manual
Asking $13800, fridge included.
Mileage: 124000

Glad she's treated you well, it was always a great truck for me too, never let me down! I almost went the Sprinter route too, but like Tacomas too much. Good luck with your new adventures!

Thanks man! It's been a real fun year taking her all over the mountains.

I'm not in the market, but this is excellent! All of the right things complete and no excess. Awesome rig, congrats on the Sprinter.
