FOR SALE 2004 TOYOTA TUNDRA 4.7 V8 ACCESS CAB - $15,900. ODO 159,648 miles. Clean Title.

My only reason for selling is not enough space for my growing family. My son has special needs and we need something with more space in the back and rear AC.

Sale IN PERSON with Cash or Certified Bank Check only and title transfer at my bank in Phoenix.

I love this truck. Arizona truck all it's life and zero rust. Everything works great, no issues. Previous owner owned the truck since 10K miles and sold to me at 153,000 miles in Sept 2021. I have a short commute and used it to explore desert 2-track and tight trails so I've only put about 6K more miles in the last 2 years. The previous owner did most of the big modifications as listed below. I changed oil every 6 months due to not driving more than 5K miles at those intervals.

This truck is mechanically in perfect condition. Runs and drives great at all speeds. No check engine lights. It has been meticulously taken care of all it's life. It has been used to explore and overland but is not a trail beater and I don't go 'mobbing' or rock crawling. It DOES have pinstripes in the clear coat from many tight bushy trails. It has the normal wear marks of an older truck that was used for what it was built but well taken care of. I drive this truck like a grandma with a light foot. With all the mods the average gas consumption is about 12-13 MPG.

Notes from PREVIOUS owner:

Oil changes every 3K miles using only Mobile 1 and AC delco filter.
Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, tensioner, idler tensioner, hydraulic tensioner (all Toyota parts).
Both catalytic converters replaced by Desert Toyota under warranty at 65K.
Differential's and transfer case serviced every 30k with mystic gear oil.
Drive shaft and joints serviced every 20k with mystic lube.
Transmission serviced at 50k and 100k with Toyota type 4 fluid and flushed at 140k with type 4 fluid.
4:56 front and rear differential gear swap AND a ARB air locker, done by Lloyd's Transmissions and Drivelines in 2009.
1999 model year Toyota Tacoma Front manual locking hubs installed 2009 (Gives the option for 2-low in off-road use)
Camburg uni-ball upper control arms.
6 inch Race Car Dynamics lift kit installed by Desert Rat east in Tucson 2008.
Buddy Stubbs rock sliders.
ARE Shell over truck bed.
New A/C system and fan clutch 07/2020.
Aftermarket stereo system with Kenwood amps
Extra set of wheels (tires on the need replaced).
Trailer brake controller.
Unichip Plug and Play ECU System
ARB front bumper
Bulldog Winch 16K with synthetic line.
Exhaust 2 into 1 with Flowmaster muffler.
K&N cold air intake

Work/modifications done by ME the CURRENT owner

Added two 'Cat-Clamp' catalytic converter theft prevention units
Pulled both front CV axles and repacked grease and put new rubber inner/outer boots ( done 2K miles ago).
New rubber bellows boots both sides rack and pinion (5K miles ago).
Fumoto valve for oil changes (so much easier with the skid plate)
Replaced tailgate latch/handle
New gas struts in ARE topper shell
New K & N filter. Personally I don't like the K and N but replaced old filter and clean and re-oil it every 3 months or so.
New windshield wipers.
5 BFG KO2 tires 2 years old with only 5 K miles on them.
New yellow lights in all fog lights.
Locking gas cap.

Truck will fit 33in or 35 in tires. I currently have 33s on it so the spare will still fit under the truck.

I don't use the unichip but it is there and works. I leave it turned off and keep ECU/engine in stock mode and do not use any tunes or performance changes.

Notable areas of wear or issue (all either cosmetic or minor):

Fog light housing could be updated but work fine.
Previous owner steam cleaned at some point so the headliner droops on the driver side.
Driver side seat belt buckle receiver spring is soft. It works but is noticeable.
There is a tiny seep at front seal of transfer case - No measurable loss when I have drained and filled at short then multi-month intervals. Previous owner said it was like this for him for years and never worsened.
There is no subwoofer for the aftermarket sound system. I left it with the previous owner and never got around to installing another.

Recently I completed a trail and was not able to air-up my tires due to the ARB air compressor fuse went and I didn't have replacement for so I had to drive 60 miles at 16 psi before airing up. As a result the KO2s look more worn than one would expect for the miles/age of the tires.
