AT custom-modified SoCal 459 Krawler manufactured in December 2014. AT frame and suspension. Loaded, everything works, great condition, many items replaced this last summer. Very rugged.
Trailer Construction: Axle-less and adjustable independent air suspension (two Schrader valves on trailer tongue for raising and lowering air bags, leveling trailer when camping) with mono tube gas shocks (this trailer provides 20+ inches of clearance), has a 3-axis articulating max coupler hitch that connects to a 2” receiver with a 7-pin or 4-pin electrical connector, electric brakes with safety brake release (last serviced/replaced in August), 32.5” off road Grappler tires (with 5x5 bolt pattern for Jeep), 19-gallon fresh water tank with electric pump, 11lb propane tank on AT side mount, Ecco propane instant hot water heater in custom fabricated SoCal aluminum water tight storage box (for sink and outdoor shower) and confirmed to work at 9000ft+ altitude.
Kitchen: The galley kitchen has a Cook Partner two-burner propane stove that sits on a slider, 48-quart Ausnarvik refrigerator/freezer that sits on a slider, aluminum sink, LED light, two sliding drawers, a screened pass-thru door for passing food/drinks from galley to cabin, and additional shelf and counter space for storing cooking utensils, etc.
Cabin: The cabin interior has sliding windows with screens, a 4” mattress that folds into a couch, a Propex furnace with automatic temperature controller for keeping you warm in freezing temperatures and even at high altitudes (recently confirmed at 9000ft in Colorado), a new stereo (Bluetooth with wireless remote) with selectable indoor and outdoor speakers, “Fantastic“ multi-speed/multi-direction fan, multiple indoor/outdoor LED lights (porch lights, galley light, red/white cabin light, interior lights for cabinets), a 44”x24”x6” aluminum storage compartment under the mattress for clothes, etc., and multiple other drawers/shelves for storing gear.
Electrical: The electrical system includes a water-tight aluminum storage box at the front, two deep cycle marine batteries with 60-Watt solar panel and charger controller, 4 12Vdc power outlets (two at front, one in cabin, and one in galley), 110Vac outlets in galley when connected to shore power. The batteries recharge when driving the tow vehicle, connected to shore power, or connected to the 60-watt solar panel.
Exterior: The exterior includes a custom SoCal roof basket, Smittybilt Roof Top Tent (like new, purchased in June, with interior LED lights), Fiamma F35 Pro awning fully supported by Fiamma mounts on trailer wall (no stakes or guy ropes to trip over!), four-wall Fiamma room enclosure (includes door and vinyl window) to give you privacy when changing or taking hot showers, AT custom camping table that sits in AT custom storage mount at front of trailer to serve as a rock guard (great invention, has rock dings), 2 5-gallon Jerry cans for extra gasoline stowed behind the electrical box and in two lockable AT mounts, 48.5” tool box behind the Jerry cans (for storing recovery gear and tools such as Hi-Lift Jack, Pull-Pal), and a 2” receiver at the back end for a bike rack or additional storage rack.
Extras: New 2” memory foam mattress for top of 4” mattress, new Camco 41541 travel toilet (never been used), Altindal hail protector to cover trailer during hail storm (slightly used, purchased in April, but does have one tear), spare 11lb propane tank.
Summary: Very easy to tow and perfect for most SUVs (trailer weighs only 2700lb and my Wrangler tailgate opens fully with trailer attached). Designed for taking off the grid and into remote places. Sleeps 4 (two in trailer and two in tent). We love this trailer and are sad to see it go, but are looking to move to a larger off road trailer to accommodate growing teenage kids (specifically, teenage daughter who now needs indoor bathroom).
