We are listing this beautiful EarthCruiser for sale on behalf of the current owners. Please see the full listing below:
SOLD
EarthCruiser is an Australian company, with production facilities located in both eastern Australia and Bend, Oregon USA. The brainchild of the CEO and head designer, Lance, who has garnered decades worth of overland travel experience, having taken EarthCruisers across multiple continents, throughout extremely remote and technical terrain. This platform was designed from the ground-up with these intentions, and its prowess truly shines in offroad and off-grid environments. Built for international travel into remote terrain, this platform emphasizes functionality, durability, and reliability over luxury. This means you can actually go places with an EarthCruiser, other than the local campground, or some wide open BLM land and/or parking lot. Take it to Patagonia, or ship it across the world and use it as a vessel to fulfill your wildest adventure dreams. This example is one of the last of the Mitsubishi Fuso FG Diesel platforms that EarthCruiser built on, as these trucks are no longer offered for sale in North America by Mitsubishi. EarthCruisers were initially designed and based on the Fuso truck platform and it was a match made in heaven. Unfortunately due to Mitsubishi discontinuing sales in North America, EarthCruiser has recently had to pivot to using a more customized Isuzu, gas powered, cab-over chassis setup. The Fuso FG platform is more desirable, as it offers a factory, out-of-the-box 4×4 setup, serviceable at any Fuso service center, with all Mitsubishi parts.
The camper itself is isolated from the chassis via a 6 point mounting system allowing for full and safe articulation in offroad scenarios. It is composed entirely of molded, insulated fiberglass composite material, seamless and once piece. 1 inch thick with insulation, allowing for down to -30F winter camping. The habitat features a forward dinette configuration, seating 4, with 2 additional seat belts, and an aft full size bed. Space usage and innovation was not taken lightly, and the entry / mud room space doubles as a vanity, shower, and a composting toilet – which cleverly retracts to be tucked out of the way with the flick of a switch. This hard-sided FX model measures in at 9ft 9 inches tall, 6ft 9 inches wide, and an overall exterior length of 21.4 ft. Making it exceptionally compact for what it is. You won’t be limited entering national parks, or even standard sized parking spaces. The cab-over chassis turns maneuvering into a marvel experience, you can see everything and there is no guessing game as to where your hood ends, navigating trails and obstacles becomes almost pleasurable. Power systems on this example include 250W of solar on the roof, and 2x 270AGM house batteries to power it all. Power is kept simple, everything on the rig is single fuel source, diesel. Your truck, heater, hot water, stovetop are all powered by diesel. All electrical needs are tended to by the two house batteries, and a heavy duty Magnum 2000W pure sine wave inverter / converter. To purchase a new Earthcruiser FX now, you will be spending upwards of $600,000 for a gas powered variety. This example has been well cared for, and when not in use has always been stored in a climate controlled storage facility. We are proud to offer it for sale on behalf of the second owners, who purchased it from the first owners in 2020.
