For Sale: 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road - 16,771 miles - $39,000
Location: Seattle, WA
Price: $39,000
I’m beginning the process of building out a Jeep Cherokee XJ so I’m putting my 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road Access Cab up for sale. The truck comes in Midnight Black, has only 16,771 miles, and features a 6-foot-long bed. It has been immaculately maintained with six synthetic oil changes by the dealer over the last three years of ownership as documented in the Carfax. The truck received both a 5,000 mile service and professional detail in the last few weeks. This Tacoma features numerous upgrades, including the following:
A brand new color-matching fiberglass SnugTop Sport Hi-Liner canopy with every available option was installed by TruckBuilders in Lynnwood, WA in July 2021. The Hi-Liner roofline slopes several inches higher behind the cab and provides increased headspace while increasing the available cargo area. The rear glass door is also increased in size. Installed options include two Windoor sliders on each side that either open out for easy access to the bed of the truck or, when closed, slide open with a screen for fresh air. The lock on the back window is keyed to the truck, so using the key remote locks and unlocks both the canopy and the truck at the same time. Also included is a 24-inch LED strip light in the ceiling with an on/off switch by the rear window. The front window features a fold down slider for access to the inside of cab and for easy cleaning. The ceiling and sides of the canopy are carpeted with a SnugRug headliner. A BedRug was also installed in the bed of the truck to protect the bottom and lower sides of the bed and to achieve an integrated look.
Mule Expedition Outfitters replaced the factory suspension with an ARB Old Man Emu suspension that provided an approximately 2.5-inch lift and included front stock load coils, front and rear shocks, and a Dakar medium-load leaf spring pack in the rear. They also installed Firestone Ride Rite Air Bags with separate plumbing so that each air bag can be inflated/deflated based on amount and location of the load to level the truck front to back and side to side.
Mule also installed RCI rock sliders, which include a top tread plate, a satin black powdercoat, and a 5-degree angle.
Toyota of Seattle installed an OEM TRD-Pro grill and recalibrated the front radar sensor for the increased height of the suspension.
Other upgrades include:
5 Nitto Ridge Grappler tires sized LT 285/70/R17, Load Range E.
5 Stealth Custom Series (SCS) Ray 10 wheels in Jet Black.
TacoMods black anodized aluminum radio knobs.
OEM Blackout Emblem Overlay Kit for all chrome badging.
Tacform all metal air vent phone mount.
This Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4x4 has a two-speed electronic transfer case, automatic limited-slip differential, locking rear differential, multi-terrain select, crawl control, and hill-start assist. The following options were also included from the factory:
Premium Off-Road Package: Dual zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and auto headlights.
Toyota Safety Sense: Pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert, sway warning system, automatic high beams, and dynamic radar cruise control.
Technology Package: Rear parking assist sonar, blind spot monitor, and rear cross-traffic alert.
All-weather floor liners and door sill protectors.
There are no known mechanical issues or notable defects of any kind. There are a few, very minor scratches and rock chips, with the most significant being two half-inch dings on the tailgate and a 3-inch scuff on the right front fender guard.
I have all receipts for service and installs. The truck has a clean and clear Washington title.
