I’m selling my 23Zero Bundaberg RTT and annex for $1000. Located in San Diego and willing to meet halfway for anyone to the north or east.
I purchased this in 2017 from Turtleback Trailers as a demo model and have used it on a limited basis-not more than 15-20 nights per year.
I would rate the tent in “good” condition with a new (6 months ago) transit cover & new (10 months ago) upgraded 8’6 telescoping ladder from Tepui.
Description:
Tent:
* There is one minor cosmetic spot where the fabric tore at the door fastener (pic) (my fault) but was mended with needle and beeswax thread and sealed.
*There is a pinhole puncture under the front flap.
*The roll-up front inside-access door has a “plastic” bar hemmed into the seam-which broke. This does not effect the door function or rolling up to stow.
Fly:
*The fly has been patched as a precautionary measure to seal some areas that “appeared” to be beginning pinholes.
All professional tent repair materials were used in these repairs, and remain sufficient IMO, and the tent has been out 2 seasons since with no problems or leaks.
Annex: excellent condition. Used once by me. I set it up on one trip to check it out and it has been in the carry bag since.
No other areas that I consider to have damage other than normal wear-n-tear.
My Thoughts
The tent is well made and solid. My wife and I sleep very good on the mattress. At 255lbs I don’t bottom out or have ever woke up sore. We really love this tent and it has served us well over the last three years. From CO rainstorms to Anza desert wind-fests’ with sustained winds at 40+ not Including gusts. I was TOTALLY surprised of the tent’s wind endurance. The reason we’re selling: moving in another direction due to our age.
History & Specs
23Zero rebranded their entire tent line over a year ago. This tent is now sold as the “Walkabout 62“. Per Jason the USA rep- the Bundaberg Is basically the same tent.
There is little info available on the Bundaberg but here is an archived page directly from 23ZERO
Also a current retailer’s site with complete specs. The last photo paste is also from the ad CBI Offroad
Roof Top Tent Queen Bed Annex Included 23Zero Bundaberg Black Transit Cover
$2,259.00 – $2,324.00
The 23ZERO Bundaberg Roof Top Tent with queen size mattress, extra room to stretch out in comfort.
