We're selling our beloved Truck Camper combo in Southern California.
The Truck:
- 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD
- 4x4 (2H, 4H, 4L)
- the famous 6.0l vortec LS gas engine with 330hp (pre-emission!!!)
- Crew Cab (6 spacious seats or plenty of room)
- 6 1/2ft truck bed
- AC blows cold
- cruise control
- power windows
- power seats
- Pioneer Radio with USB and Bluetooth
- rearview camera (bought and installed in Dec 2023)
- Air Lift 57275 LoadLifter 5000 air bags (bought and installed in Dec 2023)
- Toyo Open Country A/T II on 16inch rims (+ brand new spare tire)
- currently 141.000 miles
- clean title and registered in Montana (easy transfer of ownership to travellers aswell)
The Truck is in pristine conditions. It has been a California truck (no rust) its whole life and the previous owner was a firefighter, who has taken really good care of the truck. Before we bought it in December, it has never pulled or carried any heavy loads, we were the first ones to put a camper on it.
THE Camper:
- 2005 Lance 815 Truck camper
- Model that fits 6 1/2 and 8ft truckbeds
- one of the smallest and lightest campers with a fully equipped toilet/bathroom with sink
- 1 1/2 year old King size mattress
- Seating area which turns into guest bed
- 3 burner propane stove and oven
- big kitchen sink
- 3 cubic feet three way refrigerator (120 AC, 12V DC and propane)
- Propane Heater
- Hot and cold Water
- Outdoor shower
- Plenty of storage space for food supplies, clothing and sports equipment such as surf gear
- Really bright, due to its 6 side windows with blinds and mosquito nets and 4 rooftop windows
- The roof has a roofrack track system and a big additional surfrack
ELECTRICS:
- Two 100 watt renogy solar panels with renogy MPPT controller
- 100 AH lithium battery
- Plenty of 12V USB A and C (QC 3.0 and PD 3.0) sockets, aswell as 120V sockets via shore power or the additional sockets on the 1500W inverter
- New LED lights (and spares)
WATER:
- 18 Gallon fresh water
- 11 Gallon grey water
- 10 Gallon black water
- comes with two long hoses and several adapters to refill the tank anywhere you can imagine. We always used a carbon filter before the water got into the tank.
The camper is also in really good condition. Same as the truck, the previous owner was based in Southern California and took really good care of the camper. Everything works and no water damage. He bought it off of an old couple who barely used it. When he bought it he got the seals professionally resealed. He also barely used it. When we bought it, we resealed everything again, just to make sure it stays water tight.
The whole package is fully equipped with everything you need on the road. Included is:
- Original GMC Tailgate
- Camping chairs and table
- kitchen equipment
- tool box, tire repair kit, battery charger, jumper cables
- 8t bottle jack
- external Viar 80p tire inflator
- two spare gas cans
- Two traction/sand/mud boards
- 4 lockable tie down straps (Kanu Lock) aswell as a key lock (surf lock)
- 4 Forklift Tiedowns (bought in Dec 2023)
- 4 spring loaded turnbuckles
- some spare parts
We searched a long time to find such a nice combo and invested a lot to equip it for self-sufficient long term travel. It is an optimal vehicle for long distance travel with 2-5 people.
