SOLD: Aluminum Truck Cover (Aluminum 3 door) Central Coast CA

SOLD

This cover is approximately 1.5 years old and fits a 2005 – 2011 Toyota Tacoma short bed truck. I’m selling this cover only because I’m going a different direction...FWC Camper. My price is a substantial savings over a new unit, the Line-X was applied at the factory and is in very good condition.

The DiamondBack 270 with LineX finish has three locking doors which makes it easy to access your truck bed. The 270 can be easily customized by adding cleats or a basket to tie down and carry gear (400 pounds per the manufacturer). The DiamondBack website has more ways to customize your cover. I added RotoPax fuel can mounts; these can be left on the truck for a small fee if you want them.

The main cover can be folded back toward the cab if you have a large or tall load.

Price: $850 local pick up

Please reply by PM, I’ll respond in order received. Thanks

I've got one of these on my f250, the standard model, not the 270 and they are very nice covers!! Light enough to remove by yourself and way easier to store than a fiberglass one!

Thanks bas157.

In response to a few questions I received:

An ARB 63qt fridge fits under this cover nicely. The 63qt is longer and shorter than some other sizes that would be too tall to fit under this cover. The fridge may be available for purchase but I'll advertise that separately when I decide for sure. My fridge does not sit on a slide or frame. If you were to build a frame it would need to be constructed so that it raises the fridge about 1" max. I can provide measurements if desired.

You will need to drill two small holes in the side of your composite bed to accommodate the rods that secure the large door at the tailgate. It's not a big deal to drill the bed if you haven't done it before. The composite material is a little odd when drilling, just use a sharp drill and be methodical in measuring and drilling. Thanks

I've seen SLOwag's Tacoma in person. Nice setup for a bed cover. Very secure and usable. This cover won't fit my super duty, but don't think I won't be sending you a PM to get first in line for your fridge.

Good luck with the sale.

^^^^ Thanks Beer. This a great cover for the short bed Tacoma. I wish I could keep this as an alternative, but too many things stored get ignored....

I've had some interest but the cover is still available. I attached a few pics of the RotoPax mounting on the inside of the cover.
