*****************SOLD********************
Up for sale is a Snugtop Super Sport camper shell that is currently mounted on a 2005 Tacoma with a 6 foot bed. It has some paint chips but nothing major. I replaced the gas struts, rear tail light LED element, the rear glass hinges, and upgraded the lock last year. Previously you had to use the key to twist the lock to pop it open, but after surfing with cold hands, it was a pain in the butt. I replaced the lock with a "pro" lock that is much easier to twist. I have 2 keys for the window. The only difference from the previous lock is that the shell was always locked when closed and only openable with the key. Now you can either lock it shut, or leave it unlocked (my preferred method). Windows are tinted nice and dark. There is a battery powered dome light in the interior, that helps light it up at night. The carpet on the inside is in great shape. Mounting brackets are still in great shape too. The rear wing windows open and close no problem.
It came on the truck when I bought it in 08. The passenger side window leaked a little when I got it, and like an ignorant college kid, I just sealed it up with silicone instead of fixing it properly. That is the grey stripe around the window. I think it might leak a tiny bit again but only a few drops down the inside of the window and it doesn't rain in California so I don't really get to see if it leaks or not, but for the most part its dry.
Price is $1,000 or BEST offer.
Located in Huntington Beach, CA. Bring a friend and I'll help you install it on your truck.
(I tried to sell my truck a few months ago, but am buying a Flippac instead...weird how that works)
U of A and Rebel Alliance stickers included.
